What We Do:
Complete Disassembly (Excluding Custom Water Loops):
We'll first boot test and make sure your machine works, and then carefully disassemble your PC (excluding custom water-cooling builds) to access every nook and cranny. This allows us to perform a thorough cleaning that goes beyond surface-level dusting.
DataVac and Gentle Air Dusting:
We'll use a powerful DataVac and gentle air dusting to remove dust and debris from all components, including fans, heat sinks, and circuit boards.
For delicate components, we avoid compressed pressurized air, using it only for sturdy parts like case panels.
Thorough Degreasing and Cleaning:
We'll wipe down all components with a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution to remove grease, oils, and other contaminants.
This is especially important for PCs exposed to smoke, cooking fumes, or other airborne particles.
Fan and Heatsink Deep Cleaning:
Fans will be meticulously cleaned to remove dust buildup, ensuring optimal airflow.
CPU heat sinks will be washed with soapy water and then rinsed with rubbing alcohol for a deep clean.
CPU Cleaning and Repasting:
Your CPU will be cleaned with precision, removing all traces of old thermal paste from the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader) and surrounding areas.
We'll then apply a fresh layer of high-quality thermal paste to ensure optimal heat transfer.
Case Cleaning:
The PC case will be thoroughly air dusted.
For heavily soiled or stained cases requiring a more intensive cleaning, including a soapy water wash and blow-drying, an additional fee will apply.
GPU Exterior Cleaning:
Without disassembling the GPU heatsink, we'll carefully air dust and wipe down the exterior to remove dust and debris.
For a complete GPU maintenance, including disassembly, repasting, and thorough cleaning, thermal pad and thermal putty replacement, please add our GPU Maintenance package for an additional $200.
Reassembly and Cable Management:
We'll carefully reassemble your PC, ensuring all components are securely connected.
We'll also perform basic cable management to improve airflow and aesthetics (if not already done).
Boot Status Testing:
After reassembly, we'll test your PC to ensure it boots up and functions correctly.
Pricing and Additional Services:
Standard Cleaning, Dusting, and CPU Repasting: $90 + Hourly Repair Rate of $45. If cleaning time passes 4 hours, starting at the 4th hour, capping off after the 8th hour.
GPU Maintenance Package (Disassembly, Repasting, Thermal Pad and Thermal Putty Replacement, and Cleaning): +$200
Heavily Stained or Soiled PC Deep Cleaning: $150 Plus an Hourly Repair Rate of $55.
Most PC’s take about 3 to 4 hours to clean effectively, having a full GPU teardown or a heavily soiled PC may take a full day, please be expectant of this time required.
- Hourly charges are calculated and added to the final invoice at the completion of service.
